State Pharmacological Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
Public Enterprise “State Pharmacological Center” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (hereinafter – Center) is an institution authorised by MoH to exercise administrative and economical regulation and control of the registration of medicinal products as per Law of Ukraine “On Medicines”. In 2002 Ukraine became a full member of the WHO Program for International Drug Monitoring. As a result, information is regularly submitted to the database of WHO Collaborating Center for International Drug Monitoring ( Uppsala, Sweden). Presented are the data on adverse reactions, which developed following the use of medicinal products at the territory of Ukraine. Information is based on data, which had been spontaneously reported by physicians. By now these data (in appropriate format) have been submitted to the WHO and entered to the international database. Please visit our website to browse trough it. The skilled personnel and adequate material and technical capabilities allow the Center to work at the up-to-date level. The Center's staff includes: - 10 Members of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS) of Ukraine - 18 Corresponding Members of NAS and AMS Ukraine; - 50 Professors; - 25 Doctors of Sciences; - 105 Candidates of Sciences. The Center maintains close contacts with other control and licensing authorities of Ukraine, CIS, Europe and the USA. The Center's specialists actively participate in the European programs in pharmacology and pharmacy.
