The JSC Ukreximbank stands out among Ukrainian banks, in particular, as the only Ukrainian Bank that performs functions of Financial Agent of the Government with respect to loans originated, borrowed or guaranteed by the State. Since its foundation the bank has rendered financial support to Ukrainian enterprises actively involved in foreign trade. Since 2005 JSC Ukreximbank has acted as attendant bank in Ukraine under Boryspil Airport Reconstruction Project compliant to the 30-year USD 192 million Credit Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Having widely diversified its commercial activity over last years, the Bank keeps hold of its leading positions in foreign trade finance, offering wide range of export-import banking products. Ukreximbank also offers trade-related products and services under a series of special programmes. Such include the Second Export Development Project implemented jointly with The World Bank and the Trade Facilitation Programme of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Along with further development and diversification of the economy of Ukraine financial support to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) gains an increasing importance.
