Hotel Edelweis
Private hotel "Edelweis" is a 3-storey cottage with comfortable and cozy rooms, positioned on the territory of the famous sanatorium "Sonyachne Zakarpattia” (Sunshine Trans-Carpathian). Located at an altitude of 340 m above sea level and just 11 km from the railway station of city Svalyava near charming valley of the river “Pinia” and the step from mountains in Svalyava regeon.
It was build in November 2006 and has 4 standard rooms, 2 studio rooms and 4 suites. At the 1-floor is cafe and dining room that offers traditional Carpathian and European dishes as well as dietary food and drinks.
Today Trans Carpathian region is considered to be one of the most ecologically clean regions of Ukraine. The picturesque nature of the area, mild, moderate continental climate - all this creates the conditions for excellent rest. Skiing is the best loosen up in winter. Near the cottage are ski-lifts.
The availability of mineral and thermal water with medicinal properties creates favorable conditions for treatment. Just few steps from hotel is well-room with mineral water "Polyana Kvasova”.
On request guests may purchase all-included tikets for treatment at sanatorium "Sonyachne Zakarpattia” of stomach sickness (chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and gastritis erosion), liver disease and bile tract, kidneys and endocrine system.
Some of the healing services are offered, but not limited to:
- Balneal therapy - drinking natural mineral water with general carbonated mineral, taking specialty bath.
- Physio therapy - electroplating, electrophoresis, ultrasound therapy, short-wave therapy, laser-magneto-therapy, aromatherapy, vibrant-accusto-therapy.
- Climate therapy - on the territory of the resort is aero-solaria, an artificial lake with running water, heated swimming pool with natural heating system.
Therapeutic exercises are also including swimming in the pool, catamaran sailing on the lake, playing all sorts of sports games.
