Biopharma
One of the oldest in Ukraine, with more than 100 years experience, Closed Joint-Stock Company "Biopharma" is a leading producer of immunological and other vitally necessary medicines.
The enterprise is the only domestic (national) producer of specific immunoglobulin and organopreparations.
Combination of great experience, modern technologies and scientific researches, orientation toward the modern demands to drug development as well as production and control allows "Biopharma" not only to keep its potential but to develop in the difficult period of market relations formation. Due to the high quality and moderate prices our preparations compete successfully with their foreign analogs.
The enterprise produces more than 100 names of finished drugs, used in different branches of modern medicine.
Approaching the creation of wasteless technology of blood fractionation, "Biopharma" starts production of blood coagulation factors VIII and IX, used for prevention and treatment of bleeding (hemorrhage) in patients with hemophilia, as well as bleeding of other causation (ethiology), when sharp decrease of these factors in blood plasma is observed.
The calling card of the enterprise "Biopharma" are preparations received by application of modern methods of biotechnology - genetic engineering.
New direction of the enterprise activity is production of diagnostic preparations: Diagnosticum from microorganisms (microbes) of intestinal bacteria family for serum diagnostics of dysentery and salmonellosis, Diagnostic agglutinating dried serum for identification of Salmonella and Shigella, leptospiral erythrocytic polyvalent liquid Diagnosticum for reveal of specific antibodies in the serum of the patients with leptospirosis.
The release is begun over 30 names of test sets for medical (clinical) biochemistry, meant for laboratories with different levels of technique.
The enterprise collaborates on drug development with the leading scientific centers of Ukraine. Among them are: Institute of Surface Chemistry, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, L. V.
