Anatoliy Leonidovitch Vyslyy
Anatoliy Leonidovitch Vyslyy — private vertebrologist practitioner, candidate of medical sciences, a member of the New-York Academy of Sciences, the author of 16 inventions of new investigation and treatment methods of vertebral pathology.
In 1979 ã. Graduated from Donetsk State Medical Institute. Defended thesis in 1993 ã. Until 1998 was working in Donetsk municipal healthcare. Since 2003 has become a member of the New-York Academy of Sciences. Has been working as private practitioner up to now.
The problem of scoliosis has been known for ages. The first monograph on scoliosis was written by Andry (1741) and since that time on many researchers and clinicians have been dealing with this problem. The factual basis includes plenty of theoretical and clinical roentgenological items.
Recently the problem of scoliosis has become popular with orthopedic surgeons. The revival of the problem was caused by the new possibilities of treatment, which allow developing the methods of posterior spine fusion and operating on vertebral bodies and intervertebral disks directly. For this reason and for the reason of multiple researches (Schulthess, I.A.Movshovitch, Roaf and others) some pathogenesis questions were specified.
Idiopathic scoliosis accounts for 80% — 85% of all cases of spinal curvature. Helping these patients means recovery of a major part of people with carriage abnormalities. This fact predetermined the investigation line of the work done.
Any disease treatment starts with forming correct diagnosis. Thus doctors try to diagnose with maximum aetiology determination (disease origin). Since ancient times the doctors used to say: «Bene diagnoscitur, bene curatur». That's it. First of all, it is necessary to find out the reason of this or that pathological state and only then to develop elimination or compensation methods.
